“Skipping is necessary.” MG in Central Park, September 2014
SG on MG: Mimi is joyful and playful! My beautiful niece. I always look forward to spending time with her…seriously can’t get enough. Her comedic intelligence draws people in and makes them feel like a part of the family. We laugh. We play. Life is short and meant to be lived…and shared. She reminds me that there’s another part of my brain that is NOT “set” in my ways. That freedom is what I want to share with you. I want to share HER with you.

MG on SG: Stacey makes magic happen wherever she goes. She loves her family, her lifetime friends, and cooking Sunday dinners- wearing the highest heels and making sure the people she cares about loves life as much as she does. A designer by trade and an Auntie/Bestie by nature- Stacey is ready to laugh, reluctant to do dishes, insists on elevating to the best you can be, and that you always make your bed. Fearlessly loyal, ridiculously silly, impeccably fashionable- you’ll be so glad to know my Stace.
about Stacey Green
I love it all. The path that got me here. The good, the challenging and everything in between. This journey. This life.
My love affair with creating beauty began innocently as a teenager. I worked at a local flower shop and was mentored by amazing women who taught me that Inner Beauty was as important as a beautiful flower.
I did not take the easy route to here. Always questioning and challenging myself to find something more satisfying in education and work, I believed design was not separated from life. It was intertwined.

ACT I:
It started in my 20’s, as a graduate of FIDM, I worked as a stylist for a fashion photographer for 2 years. Then landed a dream job as an assistant Costume Designer on a new TV show called Saved by the Bell. Who knew it would become a cultural phenomenon? I continued working as a Costume Designer for a few more years until I had my children.
ACT II:
Friends began asking me to help them design their homes and I found a new passion for creating beautiful spaces and serene environments. More education in Interior Design. Always striving for perfection. Keeping my eyes and heart wide open, being a good listener, all have given me the best possible education towards being a better designer and person.
on Style. It has taken until now for me to feel like I finally have it down (sometimes). There is an unspoken formula to style which exudes a combination of ease+simplicity+grace. It has no rule book. Everyone has their own unique style formula depending on their body type and personality. Their own “best dressed”. Some days I get it.
on Fitness. Being physically strong and fit makes me feel happy and being happy keeps me feeling youthful. You’ve got to keep moving.
on Food. Cooking, eating and sharing a meal is one of my greatest passions. There is always some magic in the mix and there’s always love in the food.
on Now. It’s a crazy mix of all this life stuff all rolled into something new. WE want to share this with you. Our Love+Passion … for Travel, Food, Fashion and Design and some ridiculously silly things that happen along the way.
So here we go … always with a sense of humor, never too serious … just a little Fancy.
about Mary Griffin
30 doesn’t look at all like I expected but I’m having blast navigating my way through adulthood. After college I backpacked around Europe for while and found out that I can do things that scare me. For so long I was living timidly and holding on to things too tightly. That first solo travel adventure helped me shed that way of living- Thank God. Brave living is much more fun! In the years since then, I found a career, started a business, recovered from a sweatpants addiction, and try to travel as much as I can. A whole lot of family, friends that crack me up, and an amazing boyfriend keep me feeling loved on the daily. I enjoy hosting dinner parties, love weekends in the mountains, constantly have Fancy missteps, need daily prayer to keep centered, and am extremely proud of being a 6th generation Californian.
